Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. My name is Allison Norrington and I have worked as a complementary therapist since 2002. I am also a fully qualified beauty therapist. The complementary therapies which I am qualified to perform are nutritional therapy, facial reflexology, foot reflexology, Japanese cosmo face lift therapy, indian head massage and thermoauricular therapy "hopi ear candling". The beauty therapies which I am able to carry out include waxing, prescriptive facials, manicure, pedicure, make-up, eye treatments (tinting, eyebrow shaping, individual flare lashes), semi permanent eyelash extensions (Lash fx), minx type nail wraps and nail art. All of my therapies I carry out at my home in Wickford, Essex.

Complementary therapies are used alongside orthodox treatments to assist the body to heal itself. The body can become out of balance due to stress, pain or illness and often requires a helping hand to help it return to former health and vitality. A complementary therapist, however, never claims to cure or diagnose any illness.



I find my work very fullfilling and rewarding, having the ability to help people to feel better, reducing pain and stress. Most people can benefit from complementary therapies, including children (I am fully CRB police checked) and the elderly, although in some cases it may not be appropriate.

My qualifications to date are a diploma in Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy with the Natural Healthcare College, Anatomy Physiology and Body Massage with the International Therapy Examination Council (ITEC), a Practitioners certificate in Reflexology with the Association of Reflexologists, Facial Reflexology "Sorensensistem", Japanese Cosmo Face Lift Therapy www.facialreflexology.com and I am qualified to perform Indian Head Massage and Thermo-Auricular Therapy "Hopi Ear Candling". I also have an NVQ2 in beauty therapy. I feel it is very important to keep my skills up to date and attend post-graduate courses on a regular basis. I have completed courses in advanced reflexology, hand reflexology, the intestinal link (reflexology), reflexology for back pain and have completed part 1 of Suzanne Enzers maternity reflexology course. I have also attended various advanced massage courses.

I am fully insured with Complementary Therapists Association. I am voluntarily regulated for reflexology by the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council ("CNHC") to provide the public with confidence in me as a therapist. I am a full member of The British Association of Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy. As a therapist I am bound by a code of Professionalism and Ethics. Confidentiality and client care are always of utmost importance.

I carry out complementary and beauty therapies from a purposely converted room in my home in Wickford, Essex. I am within easy reach of Billericay, Southend, Basildon, Rayleigh, the A127, Pitsea, Benfleet and South Woodham Ferrers.

I am experienced at treating conditions such as joint pain, back pain, digestive disorders, hormonal imbalances, skin complaints, menstrual disorders, stress, auto-immune conditions and general aches and pains and many more.
